JUSTINE ROCHE
Justine Roche is a Sydney-based artist whose practice explores multiplicities of perspectives underpinned by how memory, culture, personal experience, and photography influence the way we perceive the world. Justine seeks to bring together material and elusive elements via diverse photographic processes. She is particularly drawn to the 19th-century wet collodion process of exposing directly on metal and glass plates for their haunting, timeless qualities and imperfect traces left by the maker.
